5,000 Square Foot Pool Cage Receives New Beams, Screen, & Paint
Many of the enclosures in the South Florida are 4,000 square feet or larger. We recently received a call about an extra large cage with loose screen panels and faded, chalky paint. Our inspection revealed some aluminum frame issues. SRQ Pool Cage Painting is a licensed Florida contractor. It’s essential that homeowners use contractors when dealing with any structural components of their home. It protects you from unscrupulous companies, doesn’t void your homeowners insurance, and you know the company performing the work has taken the necessary steps to properly address the issues.
An often overlooked portion of the pool enclosure restoration process is proper preparation. SRQ Pool Cage Painting takes extra steps to ensure your pool cleaning elements are free from debris by completely covering the pool prior to any work being done. We tape off surrounding home structures, mask any nearby landscaping, and tape gutters and connecting roof structures. The preparation process does add extra time to the process, so we will discuss job scheduling and be sure it’s convenient for you and your family prior to staring the pool cage refurbishment.
The total process for this cage took 8 days from start to finish. After the prep was completed, we removed old paint and debris from the cage along with the old screen. We replaced some damaged beams and it was ready for our special blend of weather-resistant paint. After curing, the screens were replaced with Phifer Privacy Screen.
